The following steps will guide you through a hotfix update on your backup software which will upgrade your version to 5.2.8:

1. Download the Hotfix file
2. Click Start then Run (alternatively, you can press WindowsKey + r)
3. Type services.msc and then click OK
4. Find the entry for AutoUpdateAgent (%Agent_Name%), right click it then click stop
5. Find the entry for Online backup Scheduler (%Agent_Name%), right click it then click stop
6. In the Windows system tray, right click the Backup Manager icon and choose Exit
7. Extract the previously downloaded zip file into the bin folder of your Backup Manger (ex C:\Program Files\Server Backup Manager\bin
8. If prompted to overwrite file choose yes
9. Back in the services window, find the entry for AutoUpdateAgent (%Agent_Name%), right click it then click start
10. Find the entry for Online backup Scheduler (%Agent_Name%), right click it then click start
11. Run the Backup Manger and then click Help then About to see your version number now read 5.2.8

These instuctions are applicable to every OS. This will not effect custom branding. Upgrading to this version will increase performance and security. Some users may find an enforcement of a valid SSL cert may cause their software to refuse connection to an unverified server. If this happens, please modify the custom.xml in the program folder to point to the proper URL. Contact technical support for more details.
